On Eyeke, a spiritual planet, the Grey Monks guard sacred secrets while humans mine for Trilium. Khaurek, a Khaured warrior, and his mentor Elyndra strive to balance mining interests with the planet’s sanctity. When greedy miners ignore warnings and defile Eyeke, the Khaureds annihilate them in a swift battle. Afterward, the Monks, led by Abrax, decry the violence and propose a ritual requiring the Khaureds to abandon their warrior ways for a spiritual path, challenging their identity as future threats loom.
